Case Study: Website Design for a Social Media Strategist

I’m so excited to share such a fun project –  a custom website design for a social media strategist with a bold vision and a heart for purpose-driven brands.

This one was especially fun to work on because it combined two of my favorite things: strong visual storytelling and intentional strategy.

From the moment Haley reached out, I knew we’d create something that felt both elevated and true to her voice. Let’s dive in.

When Haley reached out about a full website redesign for her newly rebranded company, I had a feeling this would be a fun one.

She’s a Colorado-based social media strategist and content producer who helps purpose-driven brands grow through thoughtful strategy and compelling content.

With a new company name and brand direction, she needed a website that reflected her evolution and matched the energy she brings to her clients’ work.

The Problem: Outgrowing the Old Site

Haley’s original website no longer felt aligned with her voice, services, or vision. She had big ideas, a new brand mission, and the kind of expertise that needed to shine through from the first click.

The old site didn’t communicate her authority, and it lacked the visual impact needed to connect with the creative, values-driven clients she wanted to attract.

Her goal was clear: build a website that reflects her personality and professionalism while creating a strategic path for new client inquiries.

The Process: Strategy First, Style Second

Every custom website project I take on begins with strategy. For Haley’s site, we started by mapping out the goals for each page – clarity, connection, and conversion.

We refined her messaging to speak directly to creative entrepreneurs and marketing teams who are ready to level up their social media presence.

Once the content strategy was nailed down, I wrote website copy that felt like her. Smart. Confident. A little cheeky. And full of purpose.

The tone was key. It needed to establish trust and expertise without sounding too buttoned-up or salesy.

Design Details: Editorial Meets Intention

From a design standpoint, we wanted something clean and elevated, with an editorial vibe.

I pulled in neutral tones, strong typography, and layered visual elements to create a look that’s bold without being overwhelming.

The site feels high-end but still personal, just like Haley’s work.

We also incorporated her brand photography and used real client examples to build trust and give the site a dynamic, lived-in feel.

Every section was designed with intention, guiding users through her offerings and nudging them to reach out.

The website was built on WordPress using a fully custom theme optimized for speed, mobile performance, and SEO.

I also installed essential tracking tools and created an analytics dashboard so Haley can keep an eye on what’s working.

The Results: A Website That Matches the Mission

The finished site feels like a true extension of Haley’s brand – confident, creative, and rooted in purpose.

It gives potential clients a clear sense of who she is and what she offers, and it provides a seamless experience across devices.

This project was a blast to work on from start to finish.

I love helping creative business owners bring their evolving vision to life online, and this one hit that sweet spot of strategy and style.
